This allows them to claim priority for an earlier registration date.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>The Madrid Agreement&nbsp;<\/td><td>The Madrid Agreement and the subsequent Madrid Protocol makes up the <a href=\"https:\/\/trademark-registration.com.au\/overseas-application\/registered-trade-marks-overseas\/\">World Intellectual Property Organisation\u2019s (WIPO)<\/a> \u2018Madrid System\u2019. This allows you to register your trade mark in multiple countries in one application.
